Before the photofacial begins, a protected cover will be placed on your eyes and gel is applied to your skin.
During the treatment, you will feel the handheld device glide over your skin. When the light is administered, you may feel a sensation similar to the snap of a rubber band followed by cooling for comfort.

Following your photofacial, it’s common to feel a mild sunburn-like sensation. This typically lasts less than 24 hours. Any redness should dissipate in 2–3 days. Also, it’s important to avoid excessive sun exposure and wear sunscreen when going out as your skin may be more sensitive than usual.
